NPP - The Nordic Power Periodical

The Nordic Power Periodical is an annual subscription service that consists of three separate reports. Two reports cover specific topics, while the third contains the long-term power price projection for the Nordic market.

The topical reports feature analyses of specific events, markets, market characteristics or policies assumed to have an impact on Nordic power prices. Previous reports have analyzed the global coal market, the proposed common green certificate market and the CO2 allowance market.

The long-term power price forecast presents power prices for all Nordic countries over the period 2010- 2020. In addition, the report outlines the key markets and policy drivers affecting generation both in the Nordic market and surrounding markets.

Pöyry Management Consulting's values and philosophy remain embedded in the reports. The focus is still to analyze where markets, policy and technology meet, and the approach remains chiefly economic.
